Our US1 server is currently being migrated to new hardware. A few minutes downtime is expected, details will be posted here:
16:52 - Initial rsync is currently in process to transfer all data from the old server to the new.
17:20 - The load has risen due to the transfer which may cause websites to load slowly. The sync should come to an end shortly.
23:20 - Initial sync has been completed. The migration is being delayed due to a problem at our datacenter. We're now being told the main IP address cannot be migrated over so are having to make configuration changes to the server. This will not cause any propagation issues as no websites are hosted on the main IP however we will need to update IPs for custom nameservers. For the meantime we will forward traffic from one server to the other to avoid issues.
15:21 - Data is being mirrored from the old server to the new to ensure nothing is lost. This results in a higher server load than normal but load times should barely be affected.
16:20 - A sync is being performed now.
13:11 - The new server has been configured, we're performing another sync to ensure nothing is lost in the transfer. Please hold off uploading any content to your sites during this time.
16:36 - Services have been disabled to allow us to perform the final sync. The migration should be complete within the next 30 minutes.
17:15 - Currently waiting for our datacenter to move the IPs from our old server to the new.
